The recruitment process comprises at least two interviews. The first of these takes place in our human resources (HR) department and aims to help us form an impression of you as a person. This interview only touches briefly on the position and your professional qualifications. As part of the interview your English ability will be tested.
Following the first interview, you’ll be assessed in relation to the position you are applying for. The assessment is based on a weighting of all the elements in the application process and the impression we formed during the personal interview. You will receive a written response within 7 days, either in the form of an invitation to a second interview or as simple rejection letter.
The second interview is conducted by the manager of the department you’ve applied to or we propose you to work in and will cover your qualifications and the position more specifically. Here, you will also have a chance to learn more about the position and the team. You will be informed whether we offer you the job by the HR manager or a member of our HR staff who will contact you within 3 days.
The recruitment process comprises of one interview for ratings and two interviews for officers. The first of these takes place in our crewing department and aims to help us form an impression of your working periods, years of experience in vessels and their types and your sustainability. If you apply as officer, you’ll be asked to complete an English test which lasts 60 minutes. The interview takes about 30 minutes for ratings, 90 minutes for officers including the English test. You will receive feedback on the result of the interview within one week time.
Officers, invited for the second interview in which a team consisting of the Crewing Manager and the relevant Department Managers, will expand on technical issues. You will be contacted by the Crewing Manager or a member of our crewing staff within 3 working days.
