Armona Senior Team Visits MT Atlantis Artemida During Dry Dock in Duqm, Oman

Two senior members of Armona Denizcilik's management team recently visited MT Atlantis Artemida during her dry dock period in Duqm, Oman, reinforcing the company's commitment to hands-on technical management, direct vessel engagement, and the well-being of its seafarers.

The visit was conducted by Farbod Assadpour, Chief Technical Officer, and Maziar Rezatofighi, Designated Person Ashore, who spent time on board with the Master, officers, engineers, and crew. Their presence provided an opportunity to review the vessel's dry dock progress, discuss ongoing technical matters, and strengthen the connection between the shipboard team and shore management.

For MT Atlantis Artemida, the visit carried particular importance. In recent months, the vessel has operated through regions requiring heightened security awareness, careful voyage planning, and close ship-shore coordination. Against this background, the visit also served as a meaningful opportunity for the senior team to reassure the crew, listen to their concerns, and reinforce the support available from the office.

Dry dock is a critical stage in a vessel's operational cycle. It allows essential inspections, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and class-related works to be carried out so that the vessel can return to service safely and efficiently. During the visit, the team reviewed key areas linked to vessel readiness, maintenance progress, safety performance, and post-dry dock preparation.

Beyond the technical review, the visit reflected the company's understanding that safe and reliable vessel operations depend not only on procedures and systems, but also on people. Seafarers working under demanding conditions need to know that shore management remains close, responsive, and fully engaged. By being physically present on board, the senior team demonstrated that the crew of MT Atlantis Artemida are fully supported both operationally and personally.

The discussions on board also emphasized the importance of mental and physical well-being, clear communication, teamwork, and continued discipline during challenging operational periods. The visit helped strengthen trust, improve alignment between ship and shore, and reaffirm the company's expectation that safety, professionalism, and care for one another remain at the center of daily operations.

The company extends its appreciation to the Master, officers, engineers, and crew of MT Atlantis Artemida for their professionalism, cooperation, and continued dedication throughout the dry dock period and recent operations.

This senior visit reflects Armona's practical approach to technical management: staying close to the vessel, supporting the people on board, and ensuring that each vessel under its care remains safe, compliant, reliable, and ready for continued service.
